ROHIN O’NEILL

After 5 years cutting hair in Glasgow Rohin spent the last 2 years refining his craft across the globe in some of the top salons.

After years immersed in the industry, he envisioned a space that combined precision barbering with thoughtful design, elevated service, and a strong sense of identity.

Inspired by a variety of culture, Glasweigan architecture, and european craftsmanship, Rohin opened Column Barbers from a desire to create more than a traditional barbershop.

Column was created to offer a refined experience built on detail, atmosphere, and uncompromising standards, through the lense of his beloved home city Glasgow.

the space

The interior of Column Barbers much like it’s name draws influence from Glasgow’s architectural identity and the bold principles of brutalist design.

Inspired by the city’s industrial heritage, strong geometric forms, and raw materiality, the space combines concrete textures, muted tones, and structured minimalism to create an atmosphere that feels grounded, refined, and contemporary.

Balancing softness with strength, the design reflects a modern interpretation of Glasgow’s character.

The same Glasgow, but from another “perspective”.
